Collage Heart or Wreath with Alethea Ballard

Beginning with a fabric with a smiling face, a pretty bird, or a central image of your choice, you will fuse, cut and press to create a small fabric collage. Althea will share her working style in which she creates unique, meaningful, and sometimes unhinged, collaged vignettes. Using scale, color and value to tell a story are at the heart of this process. Alethea will discuss finishing options and a demonstration of quilting the completed works.
