Laura Fraga

As a young child, Laura watched her Grandmother quilt with her church group. In 1990, she took her first quilt class in Los Angeles. A year later, she moved to San Ramon and joined Diablo Valley Quilters., where she took advantage of taking classes from many great teachers. Sally Collins was her mentor, where she learned to slow down and stitch with precision. She has been teaching since 2000. Laura became a Dear Jane Quilt enthusiast after seeing one in 2001. Her quilts have been displayed in Houston, Chicago, Mexico City, Australia and France. These days, Laura also enjoys making and teaching card making.
