QUILT SHOW

DVQ holds a quilt show every other year and attracts an average of 1,500 visitors. We exhibit more than 175 of our members’ quilts, and our opportunity quilt, which is pieced by our members. More information about our quilt show in 2023 will be posted here as it becomes available.

Quilt Show Challenge Quilt
Early each quilt show year a selection of fabrics and/or theme for a quilt and instructions are made available to members for the Guild Challenge Quilt. Members have until the Quilt Show to complete their project. Quilt Show attendees vote for the first, second and third place Challenge Quilt winners. The winning entries are announced at the quilt show and in our monthly newsletter.

FABRIC FOLLIES

This is our biggest fundraiser and will be open to the general public! Your donations will help us be successful! You can donate:

• cotton/quilting fabric
• silk
• wool
• UFO’s
• pre-cuts
• fat quarters
• yarn
• notions
• batting (no scraps)

We are not accepting quilting hoops or frames, embroidery hoops, needlecraft, batting scraps or home decorating fabric.

DVQ DAY

This is an annual day of fun and fellowship. Members pay a nominal fee to participate and bring their own supplies. Our members often invite a friend to experience our friendly guild and one of the many events it offers.
