This presentation is similar to the one Pat gave to DVQ in 2021, but includes the growth and changes of quilting in Japan in general and especially after COVID. Japanese/oriental fabrics have taken on a new excitement in the US and Europe, especially sashiko and big stitch. Patricia will take us on a flashback of the Tokyo Quilt Festival, and a tour of the Yokohama 2024 Quilt Show. She will end with a show of her own quilts made from vintage Japanese cottons, and what fabrics inspire her today.
