Rope Bowls

In this workshop taught by DVQ member Kathy Urban, you’ll learn how to make fabric-wrapped rope bowls with a braid around the top or a decorative flower. Everyone should bring the basic supplies. Kathy will bring a kit ($12 each) for those who request one. If you don’t want to purchase a kit, please bring the additional supplies. Everyone will receive a pattern and instructions for making the flower. If you have questions, please call Kathy Urban or email her at info@diablovalleyquilters.org.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given for cancellations 30 days prior to the workshop, or if your place can be filled from the waiting list. If it is less than 30 days before the workshop and your place cannot be filled, you must find your own replacement or forfeit the registration fee.

Basic supplies

  • Sewing machine that can do a zigzag stitch
  • An open-toe presser foot is ideal
  • Rotary cutter and scissors
