Scrappy Applique with Kristie Naranjo

Scrappy Applique is a fun and different applique technique where you collage your leftover scrap fabrics to create a one-of-a-kind project. In this presentation, Kristie will share an overview of the Scrappy Applique process from start to finish and end with a trunk show of different examples of projects to inspire quilters to create their own.

Kristie is an international quilt teacher certified in teaching Scrappy Applique as well as Color Confidence for Quilters. Kristie has been sewing since she was 8 years old but didn’t start quilting until she was in her forties. Her sisters and mother are all teachers, so she combined her teaching DNA with her passion for quilting and found her true love as a quilt teacher. Kristie lives in Orange County, California, with her husband and a very chatty cat named Pebbles.
