MOPS - Miles of Pillowcase Smiles

MOPS - Miles of Pillowcase Smiles - is held in September to coincide with national Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Our goal for September is to sew as many "Miles" of pillowcases as possible - - one mile equals 2,112 pillowcases. If you plan to sew, please bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. We also have a few machines at the Studio that can be used. We will have some non-sewing jobs - pinning and pressing. Please bring your lunch. Bottled water and desserts will be provided.

For those who want to sew at home, pillowcase kits can be picked up at the Studio any Friday in September from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The last day to turn in completed pillowcases is September 29, 2023.
